We used some deer repellant, (Deer-be-gone,?) but not from Tractor Supply, on newly transplanted apple trees. The Deer left the trees alone, but real pricey, and had to be reapplied often. Ours was in a spray can, and we had only 10, three foot high trees. We later drove 3 steel posts around each tree, and made a circle of 5 foot high woven wire,in about 5 foot diameter circles so Deer couldn"t reach in to eat. Trees are about 10 years old now, took fencing down several years ago. Fence made it a pain to prune trees, but saved them.
