1. Gore ain't gonna win. All them undecideds out there have been lookin at him for 8 years and don't like what they saw; Bush is ahead 5 to 10 points in the polls among the decideds (overwhelmingly among males). With the help of the virtual Monicas in the media and the money that will be dumped in the big cities it won't be a blowout, but Gore is gone.

2. That won't solve the problem though. Its too easy for legislators to delegate decision making to bureaucrats so they can have more time for fund raising to get themselves re-elected. They don't even have to write the legislation, they'll just download it from California and change a few words.
