Most guys switched to beans the 10 of June if the corn wasn't done.
One guy tried corn the 25 of June.
In January it was still 34% and light.
I got done with corn the 20th of May last yr but beans did not get done till 6/8 or so.
Beans were fine. Corn never did get under 18% and most was around 22% when I combined. Yield and test weight were good for most of the corn planted before 6/10 but wet in the fall.
It was wet all summer so compaction was not an issue from planting in wet soil.
