Sounds to me like it is time for a new engine. I would guess the piston rings are shot and allowing oil to go up the cylendar wall and compression to go into the crankcase and out the vent, causing the smoke out the oil reservior. The only cure is to rebuild the engine and put in new rings. I know that was not the answer you wanted.
