I use RUSTOLEUM Brand high heat paint, from Menards. It says on the can "for stoves, barbeques manifolds. I put 2 coats on SANDBLASTED manifolds,and Mufflers, from Wisconsin engines. So far no problems. I believe it"s epoxy, and it says NO primer. I also tried VALSPAR brand Appliance epoxy enamel, black, and it really shines, looks like porcelon, really dresses up an engine up, works ok on carbs and intake manifolds, but does not last on exhaust manifolds or mufflers.
