I'm in spencer county (just south of Louisville) I've only gotten 30 of 90 acres cut and baled so far in first cutting. Currently have 5 acres cut and getting rained on (as with many of my neighbors) that we had all planned on getting up Tuesday night because it wasn't supposed to rain until Wednesday night, well it rained on us Tuesday evening and messed us all up.
Raining right now and then only 3 days maybe of dry weather till more rain, which is not near enough time to get this thick grass dry enough to cut, rake and bale.
Probably gonna be early July till I get it all finished and moved into the hay barn.
Picture is of me moving a pair of the first cutting to the barn . This field is close enough to the barn that it is just easier to pick them up as pairs and take to the barn.
