Jeff , I've done it, and you will be livid with rage after you split the tractor and see the actual problem. There is a skinny little rollpin in the shaft that comes through the bellhousing. After all that work , all you need to do is punch out the broken pin, and drill a substantial hole through the parts, say 1/4 or 5/16 " and put a bolt through them. Some designer really screwed up on this one !!!!!! I'm guessing you have checked the pin in the upper part of the shaft, outside of the bellhousing, these break more frequently. Major Good Luck !!!
