I found an old Buck knife in a flea market a couple years ago, had 373 stamped on the blade, so I'm purty sure it's American made, since there was no mention of China anywhere. I paid $8 for it, sharpened it, polished the brass, sanded gouges and scratches out of it, and even though you can tell it's had a hard life, it's still the best outdoor using around the yard knife I've ever had, and it's probably older'n me. (I'm 51) I don't imagine I'll ever need another new one before I'm dead.
