No, YOU are the one who misunderstands. I pay my taxes to get services. I went in during regular office hours, not at night or during a weekend. At just about any other business, that would get me someone who wants to take my money and will more-or-less gladly perform the service they advertise that they do. It's not that I think I'm any more important than any other taxpayer; it's just that I have this idea that I'm not any LESS important than the guy who came in last week, or last month, and got the services without the hassle.
Pardon me if being treated the same as the folks who were able to transact their business without the hassle is, in YOUR view, an unreasonable request. To me, it's not only reasonable, but it's why I pay my taxes.
