Ken, I had they same experience several years ago and have never used those off brand paints since. I only have the Farmalls so I can tell you that the IH paints do last a long time and maintain their color well for me. The guy that paints my Dad's tractors uses the regular tractor Co. paint or a automotive paint to paint all his tractors and they look great for years. So I guess you kinda gets what you pay for in paint.
