Thank you for the reply Rod. I've never weighed the disc, but I would guess it is probably in the lower weight range that you quoted. I have a old ford 850 (only tractor I've got at the moment) - and I can pull it in first gear to a max depth of half way up the dics - albeit feathering the lift tires to keep from spinning the rear tractor tires. I was hoping that the 545 could pull it with more authority, however maybe I wouild be better off going with a larger ag tractor with more HP. Its just that I am dealing with a limited budget and want a versatile tractor - just like everybody else I suppose. Thanks again.
