I had a 1979 Chevy p/u with dual fuel tanks and you could switch from one tank to another in the cab. You could probably install one on your truck, but if your fuel tank has a pump in it you probably would need a pump in this tank. It would have to be plumbed into the existing fuel line and you would need a switch to cut off battery voltage to the existing tank and and a switch for the new tank to supply voltage to the fuel pump when its needed.
