The 2030 JD we just purchased, we flushed the cooling system, then my husband drove it back to the shed (about 200 yds). When he got off, he noticed a big wad of goo (looked like grease and water) about the size of a half dollar that the engine had blow out the vent pipe. Also, there is water dripping out of the pipe, and it seems to taste kind of sweet. We have checked the oil (the tractor place had just serviced it) and it does not seem to be sticky to the hands. My husband thinks the engine is bad. What do you think?
