No expert by any means but my .02 cents. I would think if you cleaned the tank and changed the filters you should be free from any trouble. I would purge every line with fresh fuel or blow every line with air and then fresh fuel. Just make sure all of the sugar was washed out of the tank and it should be ok. If you say it was only ran a short time it shouldn't have much if any sugar residue in the cylinders and that should clean out with the fresh fuel.
