All that busines is good about going around clockwise, etc, but I think your real problem, is you are steering the tractor, and not the mower. Keep in mind, that when you turn right, the mower goes left a little, and then travels outside the radius of your rear tires as it follows, creating the "lobe".

I used to have the "lobe" problem, until I learned to turn sooner, by angling into the turn just a little at first, and then cutting hard later in the turn. Watch the travel of your hog, and realize it's a round spinning device, not square like it looks. Once you do this, you can minimize the lodes, and a tworst you'll have a few stray pieces of grass sticking up in the corners.
