I recently removed from a salvage 9-n a steering part that not many people have seen or heard of. This part clamps to the top of '39-'47 n series steering column. It's supposed to keep the wheel being ripped out of your hands while crossing furrows. It's made of cast iron, has 2 socket head screws that allow it to be clamped to shoulder of column. There are 4 rollers inside that lock out any sudden action that the wheel might take. It raises the wheel approx. 2 inches. anybody know anything about it?
