I had an interesting morning. I brought my International 460 Utility tractor back to my house from the land which I own - about a mile trip. As I'm pulling into my driveway smoke begins rolling out of my left (left if you sitting on the tractor) brake casing!!! I didn't think the brake was sticking - it wasn't pulling the tractor to the left at all - someone told me that it may be just bearly stuck and that driving it in 4th gear for a mile was enough to heat the brake up and that if I put it in reverse and hit the brakes a few times it may unstick it... my question is first of all would this help and second if it is not sticking enough to hinder the tractor or pull it to the left - how will I know when I get it unstuck??? Should I go into the casing and lubricate something???? HELP!!!
