I am about to take a John Deere B into my shop and tear it down for a complete restoration. How would be the best way to strip the parts down for painting? I don't have the equipment for sandblasting so that is out of the question. I was in the hardware store and I saw those flap wheels for angle grinders and drills. Any good? Should I sand it to strip it or use a wire brush attachment on an angle grinder. What should i do after that to properly prep the surface for painting? WHat would be the best way to paint? SHould I get an air compressor and allt he attachments or should I just buy one of those Wagner Powerpainters. Please help. Thanks, Karl
