I have a late Fifties/Early sixties K-181 Kohler. I was wondering the year as the Serial Number DID NOT fit what was listed in the Kohler K-series service manual. I sent a high resolution digital photo of the Data Plate to Kohler. They said they could not date the engine from the Serial Number and had to use the Spec. No. Late 50's or Early 60's was as close as they could come.
