The best thing you can do is talk to a friend that you know and would like to carry on your mowing business. As far as offering it up for sale to the highest bidder is gonna be real hard cause you dont have contracts/insurance/ registered as a business with the state, etc. (How much per week do you do in sales in the summer?)
Lets say you have $6000 worth of equipment that is paid for, sell it all to your friend for $10,000---cash deal. I assume you have your pickup a trailer, 3 zero turn mowers and 3 weed trimmers---or something close to this setup.
Thats what I would do, if all else just sell the equipment individually to recoop the money spent on the grass cutting stuff.
