that happened on I-465 on the northside of Indianapolis in the summer of 1999. Ol boy was driving westbound with a JD backhoe on a lowboy trailer. He forgot to lower the boom all the way down on the hoe. Hoe and Springmill Road bridge were severly damaged when he hit the bridge at 70 mph. About 2 months ago, a lowboy with a JD combine was traveling east on I-70 and exciting onto the 270 degree ramp to I-465 north. He spilled that combine onto I-70 east and it closed all 3 lanes of the interstate for half a day.
