My parents had a road side produce stand for years and years ago someone stopped in and left their car running to keep the inside cool and with their dog still inside. Our dog sensed their dog and he ran all around the outside of the car and their dog went to every window which was closed and he jump and jump and locked all the doors.
I don't remember how they got back in but it was humorous after they left.
In a case like yours be sure to flip the master window switch to off if it has one. No one can use their power windows then. Driver has complete control.
