You are right but I think the mutt would be less likely to press the window lock button on the driver's door than any other door with the driver sitting in the driver's while driving.
I don't let my dog near me in the car when I'm driving. I've seen too many accidents caused by small dogs sitting on the drivers' lap while the driver is driving the vehicle. The dogs nudge at the driver's hand or arm and that's all it takes.
Now days more people are having accidents just reaching for their cell phones. Just a mile from my house a young lady say 25 years old totaled a pickup truch wrapping it around a pole, she was reaching in her purse for her cell phone. She said the wind blew her off the road. DAAHH!!
