Here in Wi., you need to decide which side of the white fog line you want to travel on. It is not legal to change lanes when the painted line is a solid continuous line.(yellow or white does not matter) I got a ticket for straddling the white line with my car and luckily for me the D.A. decided to drop the charges when he realized that I when go to court over it.
That of course would mean that the mail carrier is doing something illegal. I think I will ask someone about that one. Steve
