Got home from work this morning and two old cows were off by themselves. Been watch'n close for the last two weeks. They were just starting to do their thing so I left'm alone and went to bed. Sent the wife to go check cows after I left for work tonight. She called just before dark and could hardly talk, hadn't heard her that tore up in a while. Got two pretty black babies. They will be pop'n out like pop corn for the next 3 weeks.
I try to shoot for the first of April and seems like I never have any before the 15th. Guess when I turn the bull out he don't want to be to forward and get to know them first or something, that or maybe I can't count, I don't know!
