The remains of our soldiers are brought to the RCAF base at Trenton, east of Toronto, thence the hearse ride on the 401 and hundreds of people line the overpasses waving Canadian flags as the hearse passes, there are fire departements, police, military and thousands of civilians all along that corridor through Ontario, I passed through there earlier this afternoon and people had begun to assemble, one lone flag bearer on an overpass was all it took to bring a tear to my eye..that soldier was Canada's second female combat soldier to die, described as a true soldier, believed in her mission and had made an impression on all her fellow soldiers..rest in peace Private Blais...

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for �200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
