Well you can say what you want about Texas, Live here and you will see the difference. Yes the urban areas are diluted with scum from other places that act like Texans. But as with any state or place the real people are in the heart land.
We may be brash, and proud, sometimes too proud, but at least we have a history, and a fight inside us most of the rest of the country has lost. As Patton once said " Give me West Point grads and I will win a battle, give me the Texas Aggie Core of Cadets and I will win the war!"
