Andy you have it backwards. With older tractors and implements they made rods to hold the implements up then you would lower to the stop to relieve pressure so you could unhook and hook up with no pressure in the lines. So the implement would be in the up position with a stop and have no pressure and even if you dropped the implement all the way down there wouldnt be any pressure in the lines
