I knew one of the first guys to dig pipeline with a hydraulic excavator. He made the best comment; Anybody can dig a hole but knowing how to make the job look like you want is where the skill comes in. You run a bobcat so you probably know to not try to go too fast. I've seen a few people hop in a machine and try to show off how fast they can go. If you're going to be in that machine all day, let the machine do the work the way it was designed without throwing yourself around like a soccer ball. Your body will thank you.
