There was a case in Toronto about three years ago. The women/mother was a Obstetrician/Pediatrician herself. And at least two members of her immediate family were also medical professionals. The Post Partum hormones drove her to leap in front of a subway train while holding her newborn. Perhaps some of us may see or hear tell of a case of PPD the future.
