I"ve got a United States patent....BIGGEST waste of money I ever spent....All someone needs to do is make an improvement on your patent and VOILA, they have a patent on their improvement on your patented article...Then , the patent office passed a bill that requires $1600.00 for a maintenance fee to "maintain" your patent..I didn"t realize there was that much "maintenance" on a patent....But before a certain date there is no maintenance fee ,but after that date, grab your ankles........No sir , not again.....

While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation. They all seem to start with a chapter entitled "Theory of Electricity". After a few paragraphs I usually close the book and go back to banging out dents.
