For a system with an amp guage which I assume your Massey has, The I regulator terminal is not used on an amp guage system. wire the Ford regulator A+ terminal to a constant on 12V source. Wire the regulator S terminal to so it recieves 12V only when the ignition is on. Wire the regulator F terminal to the F terminal on the alternator rear. If not already done the alternator BAT terminal must be connected to one side of the amp guage ( This is the wire that normally would be on the old generator regulator BAT terminal). Make sure the battery is installed to give a negative ground system. If amp guage reads backwards ( shows + or charge when you turn on lights or ignition) then the tractor origionally had a positive ground system. to correct this reverse the wires on the amp guage terminals. The wiring is a bit different if your tractor is wired to use a GEN or CHARGE light. If you need wiring info for a charge light system, let me know and I will post it here.
