Are you saying that there was no use wearing eye protection? What about stopping a squirt of oil or small pieces. They could cause injury or blindness as well. We'll see in 40 years what running or not. I remember the weeping wailing and gnashing of teeth during the 1960's. There was no way those expensive new tractors could out pull the old tractors. They were too noisy, burned too much fuel and were too big. Nobody needed those fancy expensive cabs with heaters. And who needed a radio or air conditioning?
