I have a Farm & Fleet model. AYP is now owned by Frigidaire. The Husqvarna's are also the same tractor. I don't know if the lawn tractors are good, but I think the Craftsman garden tractors are very good. If a person would prefer to pay double for a JD without trying out a Frigidaire model, I am sure JD is laughing all the way to the bank. I have a 25hp Kohler and a Hydro-Gear 222-3010(also a new company) transaxle in mine. It is an awesome tractor. In my opinion you made the best choice. I have bought parts for other tractors through jackssmallengines.com, and they arrive in three days. I haven't had a single problem with the Frigidaire and the folks at Farm and Fleet cut a few hundred off the price ($2999 originally) just by my asking. I mow 4.25 acres of wooded hillside (very steep) and the new tractor never slips or slides.
