Agreed and I don't think my approach is too far off from where you are going. A malfunctioning Thermostart (and mine was not working anyway) could have been passing fuel directly into the air intake and eventually down to the crankcase. I will admit that the first seal I replaced in the injection pump was not a very likly candidate after I saw what it was doing, but the most recent seal is the one directly between the fuel pump and the crankcase and could very likely be the culprit. If this does not get it corrected, I will have to move on to the injectors themselves.
