Our Iowa ban started last July 1. I just read in the paper today that the amount of complaints about non-compliance are way down now. If a complaint is filed the bar is given one warning and the majority obeyed after the first warning. It just takes awhile for everyone to adjust. Some small town local bars that don't serve food and have about the same crowd every night still allow it and no one complains about it. The casinos are allowed to have smoking which is why I never go to a casino. I wouldn't mind throwing away twenty bucks once in a while at a casino but I'm not gonna sit there in a smoky haze. Jim
