Guess maybe a D15 AC that I baled with when working for my neighbor each summer as a kid. This was '62 to '65, so tractor wasn't far from new. My first experience with "live" PTO- still remember riding the foot brake as you let the foot clutch out, get the baler up to speed, then push that Power Director lever forward and away you go. Very smooth running tractor, liked the two speed "shift on the go" feature.
Then came to work one day, and there's a brand spankin' new Oliver 550 diesel with Freeman loader. Instantly, a new favorite tractor! Loved the diesel sound, smell, everything about it. And the neatest thing about it, they traded that miserable knee-bustin' JD 40 in on it!
Bought a 550 of my own in '78, will probably have it til I die.
