Around me (southeast of Denver, CO) $2,000 won't touch an N series Ford, or much else. Seems that tractors in the 50 to 75 horsepower range are most reasonably priced in these parts. Most gentleman farmers (yuppies) with 10 or 20 acres think they're too big, and of course a working farmer thinks they're too small for anything but chores. Check the article archives for what to look at when you find one to buy. Utah Extension wb site has a good checklist, too.
