What are they planning to do with them? Reason I ask is last year the humane society here seized a bunch of sheep and cattle and went on the radio asking for hay and grain to be donated for them. Some of the local farmers called asking to take the animals on themselves.... turned out for them to be "adopted" back out again you'd have to sign a legal contract that they never be sent to slaughter or eaten or used for breeding purposes.. just pets. They didn't get much hay for that foolishness.
