It has to do with the suns heat output. It is not constant but is cyclic in nature. I have seen some data that shows the sun's heat output as a function of time and it's right in line with mean temperature data as a function of time, supporting the argument that the recent hot dry weather is due to increased solar output. This tends too show that the "global warming" we hear so much about is nothing more than part of a natural cycle of weather driven by the sun's cyclic heat output.
Now if we could only get the feds to consider these other possibilities instead declaring that man's to blame for all of this climate change......
