The Russians consider the German defeat at Stalingrad the turning point of the war, while the German defeat in North Africa costed more men and material. If Germany had the Africa Corp on the Eastern Front instead of Africa the "battle" for Stalingrad wouldn't have been more of a challenge than the taking of Rostov, Kursk or Novgorod. With thousands more fighters and bombers ranging over the Russian armies and factories their ability to arm and move armies would have been even more lethargic than it was.
