I just needed to get the hood off to replace the muffler and air stack. I removed the 6 bolts and clips and got the hood off okay. But I think it would be difficult to get the clips back on with the fuel tanks on the tractor. I will remove the tanks (all that is holding them is the fuel lines) and install them under the hood before replacing the hood.
Thanks for the advice. Its always nice to know someone out there has the knowledge to pass on to a novice.
