Modified plans to come up with the house we have. Built it 35 years ago, took the plans to a contractor and had the house build as a pre-cut. We did all the interior work, except drywall. The basic design worked out well, 2000 sqft., 4 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath. After the kids left we added another family room. They didn't come home alone anymore, so we needed more room. I really enjoyed building it and have helped several friends build their own since. Constructioln work is fun and satisfying if you don't have to make a profit. Paul
