Interesting topic. The advice I have given a few times are things I have done with great success. I grew up around farm equipment. About the time Dad stopped farming in 1964. I got a job in a factory doing machinery repair. I started my Mowing, and discing business around 92,working nights most of my 36 years while keeping my business going during the days. I do all my own repairs, including major engine rebuids. The mechanic schools I attended are aircraft engine mechanic, and the school of skinned knuckles and bumped heads.
