Be happy to pray for your son. Also wanted to say that although it seems bleak right now, this is not nearly as bad as other diseases out there today. My dad has been a type one diabetic for 50 years. He has listened to his doctors, followed a good diet, and kept close track of his blood sugar levels. About three years ago he started using an insulin pump and he thinks it's the cats meow. No shots anymore, and the machine regulates the amount of insulin going into his body at a constant rate rather than the one large does that he used to get with shots. He feels better now at 56 years old then he did at 30. The medical technology that they have today is amazing! I'll be happy to pray for your son, but if for some reason God doesn't remove the diabetic condition, tell your son not to worry. Embrace what the doctors tell him, ask questions, follow the advice, and life can be very close to what he has always known.
