Leon - I found the paint straight out of the can to be a bit "sputtery" side too. Solution was to crank the pressure up to the max allowed (60 psi) to the spray gun. Also discovered the CT paint is slow to cure. Was still tacky 24 hours after application. Found it worked best giving it at least 2 days between coats. The upside is it cured to a near glass-like smoothness. Bottom line however is I'm generally pleased the the CT paint - especially the price!
