Is it really all that bad here in Canada?? Certainly the gun registration was a total waste. But having said that, I purchased two rifles on two seperate occasions from sports stores last year and it took less than 15 minutes to be processed each time. Yes, I have a possession/acquisition license, but it wasn't all that difficult to obtain. I certainly don't feel that my rights have been infringed on. I suppose if I was in the least interested in hand guns or fully automatic weapons I might think differently.
