I remember hearing him say one time that he would like to appologise to the hard working honest businessmen of the country. He said that he had been guilty of harrasing business owners without saying that there were good business owners out there. He went on to say that honest businessmen were the foundation of our society, they risk everything, their house, car, life savings, and many times their family security, in order to provide service in a fashion that built this country. He went on, but i got the point right away. I have never heard anyone else say thet they have maybe harshly judged people, ESPECIALLY on the Radio or TV. He was deffinately a classic, and classy.
Interesting that today, all you have is people reading scripts from the teleprompter, and they mostly dont even know what they are talking about, no less than to who.
I will surely miss Paul Harvey, and his honest delivery of what he thought was important.
