Meant to label my last post as 3020 not 2030. Got my wires crossed, I guess.
Working on a "67 3020 that has sat outside for about three years. Put a new fuel pump on it, bled the lines through the new fuel filters. Have new fuel up to the injector pump and fuel going back through the return line, but no fuel will go to the injectors themselves. It is like the throttle lever is in the stop position even though I have it at WOT. I have been told that this Roosa Master pump has a metering valve that is pushed closed when you pull the throttle lever to the stop position and I believe that the valve is stuck from sitting. Is there anything that could be done to fix this short of pulling the pump off and taking it to a repair shop? The pump was rebuilt about a year before the tractor was parked, so unless there is something damaged from sitting, it should be good and strong. Thanks in advance for your help.
