I just opened up an underground fuel oil tank (for home heating) that is about half full. Place has a heat pump now, with insulated windows dated 1990, so safe to say the fuel oil is at least 20 years old. Looks and smells fine on the stick I measured it with. Haven't pumped any out to look at. Assuming it looks clear when I pump it out, is it safe to use in my diesel tractors? Maybe use it half and half with diesel?
